Michelle Almonte was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. She successfully graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science degree in April 2000.  She pursued a career in homeopathic medicine from Dr. Nielsen’s Homeopathic Medical and Education Research Inc. (DNHMERCI).  She graduated in May 2004 from their full-time, four year program.  Michelle has worked in the natural health industry from all aspects, including manufacturing, retail, and practitioner.  She is an accomplished freelance writer, publishing natural health articles in both local papers as well as nationally distributed health magazines.

Jennifer Deng MD. (China), Certified Clinical Thermographic Technician (CTT)

Dr. Jennifer Deng received her M.D from the Medical University of Tianjin in China in 1985, and spent the next thirteen years working as a medical doctor in China. She spent most of her time at a hospital for children and women, specializing in pediatrics and optometry. During her years in China she also trained in massage therapy and traditional Chinese medicine, and published several of her research studies in pediatric medicine.

Dr. Deng came to Canada in 1998 and has since acquired a wealth of experience in a number of medically related fields, including pharmaceuticals and traditional chinese medicine among others. Through working and studying in Vancouver, she has acquired an extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, supplements, and nutrition.

As the only registered member of the International Association of Certified Thermographers in Canada, she has been working with thermographic imaging since 2006, as a risk marker for breast cancer and as an early warning system for other diseases. She is also trained in the use of cold-laser therapy to treat a number of ailments. Recently, in 2008, she also received her master's degree in auricular medicine.

Dr. Deng combines her medical knowledge and experience with modern and traditional treatments to more effectively meet your health needs.

Julie is a graduate of the Cory Holly Sports Nutrition certification course. She is also a graduate from the Counsellor training institute and has a Certificate In Counselling Science . With 10+ years of industry experience and a passion to see others get well she can help aid in choosing natural products and results are soon noticed. She is certified to work with athletes but also has a passion for anyone wanting to lose weight and keep it off. So, from those with a chronic disease like cancer, to a house mom wanting to lose a little weight, to one who just wants to assure wellness and feel their best, Julie would be happy to assist you.

Ada is a compounding pharmacist with 10 years of experience in bio-identical hormone restoration therapy.  As a graduate from UBC she has received advanced training in compounding through Professional Compounding Centre of America in Houston, TX, and the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.

Ada has special interest in women's health issues, pain management, and orthomolecular medicine. Ada is also the winner of the Award of Exellence in Community Pharmacy Practice 2007, from the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.

Penny Povey lived in England for 15 years where she studied herbal medicine and nutrition. For five years she worked in England's first integrated pharmacy situated in central London. She regularly gave information to journalists for articles being written and for two years she was the therapist featured in the M Magazine article MOT your body.

She uses a bio-energetic machine to assess the health of the body's organs, and then determines what the body needs to bring it back to balance.
